Anime: 2011 Fall Expectations

So the fall season is already running and I can’t feel happier about anime right now. This feels like it’s going to be the best season of the year, and rightfully so: there are 3 specific titles that I have (and many others) waited for quite a long time already to be adaptated, and they all came out in a single season. This season.

Why am I not mentioning other series? Well, because this are the specific three that are more important to me. I just hope this series end with me not regretting being happy about anime after years of feeling pretty meh about it.

Fate/Zero

Fate/Zero brings another chapter of the Fate saga to Television. Many had already seen this coming and there is no big surprise that this eventually got made, and personally the fact that Nitro+ and Ufotable are involved makes me feel assured that they will stick true to the crudeness of this specific chapter. My expectations are really big.

Persona 4

JRPG to Anime adaptation? It just needs to come out good. Persona 4 is an amazingly good story and there’s no reason for anyone to screw this up. Since Persona is very story oriented we should see a really faithful adaptation like we had with Tales of the Abyss, an adaptation that I’m very happy with.

Mirai Nikki

It’s a story about people wanting to kill each other off while one of your adversaries has an unealthy crush on you. Also, that crush has some weird shit going on in her head… but how can you say no to that face? WATCHING
